At Transwest Mining Systems, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve, and beyond. For many years, we have fostered a long-standing tradition of citizenship and volunteerism. We take pride in opportunities to lend our resources to many worthy and notable causes and join together with our employees in the community to support volunteer efforts.

• Transwest consistently tops Supplier’s portion of the “Mining for Miracles” fundraising campaign for the B.C. Children’s Hospital and the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation of Northern Alberta. 
• We support the Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Fort McMurray Branch with our annual golf tournament .
• Our Fort McMurray Branch recently donated $100,000  to Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation.
• We are a supporter of the Mining Association of B.C.’s Education Program and the School of Mining & Petroleum Engineering - University of Alberta
• Transwest  is a platinum sponsor ($500,000 plus) of the Coal Discovery Centre in Sparwood, B.C.
• We are a proud supporter of trades colleges – Keyano College, SAIT, NAIT & BCIT
• Transwest is a working member since inception of the MSCCA
• We participate as a major sponsor of Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum AGM’s
